Getting to the Heart of the Matter

In many instances, knowing what caused a loss to occur is the first step in determining whether or not it will be covered under the insured’s policy.

We can determine the cause of a loss, either by evaluating equipment at the insured’s site, or by arranging to have the equipment brought to our facility for inspection.

We work with all necessary parties (independent adjuster, public adjuster, reinsurer) to identify what happened, why it happened, the party responsible for coverage, and if any product recalls or outside factors (such as lack of maintenance, known defects, or wear and tear) contributed to the loss. This information is critical in determining if the loss circumstance corresponds with the damages sustained.
